Nigerian Permanent Residency and Foreign Direct Investment Program.
In partnership with the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Center for African Citizenship and Economy (CACE) is the implementing agency of the Nigerian Permanent Residency and Foreign Direct Investment initiative. This initiative is designed to address historical injustices resulting from the transatlantic slave trade by providing Blacks whose ancestors were enslaved to obtain Permanent Residency and eventually Citizenship of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Also, this program acknowledges our shared heritage by providing an economic and cultural reconnection platform.
This program recognizes the historical ties between Nigeria and global Black communities and seeks to promote economic development and foster a stronger connection between its people.

Program Objectives:
African Americans in the United States alone have an estimated purchasing power of over $2 trillion. To put this into perspective, if African Americans were a country, their economic power would place them as the 11th biggest economy in the world, surpassing countries like Russia, Mexico, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Foster Mutual Development: Encourage investment, knowledge exchange, and collaboration between African Americans, Blacks, and Nigerians to promote socioeconomic development.
Seek to be a Stakeholder in the Economic and Financial Inclusion initiative of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu's presidency, especially in his effort to grow the Nigerian economy to $1 trillion by 2030.
Acknowledge Historical Injustices: Recognize the impact of slavery on Black people across the globe and acknowledge their historical ties to Nigeria and the African continent.
Promote Reconnection: Facilitate cultural, social, and economic reconnection between African Americans and Nigeria.
Strengthen Diaspora Relations: Enhance relations between the African diaspora, particularly African Americans, and Nigeria, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support.
